All-Inclusive Alaska Fishing Lodge

A little Bit About

Kiklukh Lodge

Nestled on a bluff overlooking the Kiklukh River and Gulf of Alaska lies the ultimate destination for fishing enthusiasts: Kiklukh Lodge, one of the premier all-inclusive Alaska fishing lodges. If you’re looking for an intimate, personalized experience with breathtaking views and some of the best fishing in North America, then Kiklukh Lodge should be your next destination.

Our exclusive location accommodates a maximum of 16 fishermen per week, making it one of the most sought-after all-inclusive Alaska fishing lodges. Accessible only by bush plane, approximately 80 miles southeast of Cordova, our lodge offers the perfect combination of solitude and adventure. Referred to by Alaskans as the “lost coast of Alaska,” Kiklukh Lodge offers picturesque coastal and mountain views that are sure to leave you breathless.

Kiklukh Lodge prides itself on providing an exceptional fishing experience, boasting trophy catches of Silver Salmon, steelhead, sea-run, Dolly Varten, Cutthroat Trout, and rainbow trout. As one of the premier all-inclusive Alaska fishing lodges, our lodge is dedicated to providing guests with authentic wilderness fishing without any outside intrusion.

The Kiklukh River, a two-minute drive by ATV from the lodge, is approximately 8 miles of low gradient, free-flowing water from two mountain lakes. The river varies in width from 40 to 60 feet, depending on the water level, with an average depth of 3 to 5 feet. The lower three miles of the river is flat and braided, providing excellent holding water and runs for incoming fish. The upper river is narrow with higher water volume, offering more shooting run type fishing conditions. Anglers can enjoy the crystal clear water, affording them an opportunity to “site fish” for trophy Silver Salmon. While most anglers prefer to wade, waiting is not a prerequisite for fishing as many of our most productive runs and holes are fished directly from the bank or shore, ideal for anglers.

As one of the most popular all-inclusive Alaska fishing lodges, Kiklukh Lodge offers all the amenities you need to relax and recharge, from comfortable cabins and hot showers to internet access. Our chef and her staff will prepare three home-cooked meals daily, featuring fresh and locally-sourced ingredients. After a big day on the river, guests can enjoy fine dining, including Alaskan king crab legs, jumbo shrimp, filet mignon, baked halibut, grilled salmon, chicken, prime rib (cooked to order), fresh fruits and vegetables, and homemade cakes and pies. Our all-inclusive Alaska fishing lodge is famous for its excellent food and large portions.

For those who want to take home their fresh-caught fish, we offer vacuum sealing and freezing services, so you can enjoy the taste of Alaska long after your trip is over. And as one of the premier all-inclusive Alaska fishing lodges, our price includes the shuttle flight into the Lodge from Cordova, lodging in our separate cabins, all meals, expert friendly guide, tackle if you need it, preparation to take some salmon home, and an opportunity to relax and enjoy nature in one of the most remote and pristine places in North America.

Travel To Kiklukh Lodge

Traveling to our remote all-inclusive Alaska fishing lodge is an adventure in itself. To get there, travelers will fly on commercial aircraft to the city of Cordova, Alaska, and then take our lodge's shuttle fight service to the remote fish camp. However, please keep in mind that the weather in Alaska can be unpredictable and may cause delays, so it's always a good idea to prepare for the possibility of needing to book accommodations at one of the local hotels in Cordova, either on the way to the lodge or when leaving.
Upon arrival in Cordova, anglers will be met at the airport and immediately transferred to our hanger. From here, you will board one of our two aircraft and take a breathtaking 20-minute flight to the lodge. The flight provides incredible views of the rugged coastline, glaciers, and coastal ranges.
If you plan to arrive in Cordova a day early, we offer a shuttle service to transport you to your motel and then back to the airport the next morning for your shuttle flight to the all-inclusive Alaska fishing lodge. Most anglers can make it to the lodge in one day, with the option to overnight on the way out if necessary. If you need any help with your travel arrangements, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Fishing Locations & Species

Get ready to experience some of the best fishing Alaska has to offer at out all-inclusive Alaska fishing lodge. Just a two-minute ATV drive from the lodge, the Kiklukh River stretches approximately 8 miles of low-gradient, free-flowing water sourced from two mountain lakes. The river is small, ranging from 40 to 60 feet in width, depending on water levels, with an average depth of just 3 to 5 feet. The lower 3 miles of the river are flat and braided, offering excellent holding water and runs for incoming fish, while the upper river is narrow with higher water volume, perfect for shooting run-type fishing conditions.
One of the most exciting things about fishing on the Kiklukh River is the crystal-clear water, which allows anglers to "site fish" for trophy silver salmon. The stream bottom is old washed gravel, and while most anglers prefer to wade, waiting is not a prerequisite for fishing. Many of our most productive runs and holes are fished directly from the bank, making it ideal for anglers of all skill levels.
While the Kiklukh River is our main fishing area, there are numerous other fishing locations within a short distance from the lodge that provide an abundant amount of fish, ensuring that you come back with a catch at the end of the day no matter what the weather may have in store.
Let's talk about the Kiklukh River species of fish and the fishing access. The river is home to an annual run of silver salmon, averaging around 20,000 fish, with an average weight of 12 pounds, with many fish taken during a week of fishing weighing between 13 to 18 pounds. Each year, several fish in the 20-pound category are caught, with the unofficial lodge record being a weighted fly-caught coho that tipped the scale at an impressive 22 pounds, 4 ounces. Four IGFA world records were set on the Kiklukh River in just three years, making it a prime destination for anglers worldwide.
The Kiklukh River is also host to a variety of different game fish, including Cutthroat and Rainbow trout, resident and sea-run Dolly Varden. Early season fishing can provide a chance to catch Pink and Sockeye Salmon.
In addition to the Kiklukh River, the lodge fishes additional waterways, the Otter River, and the lake watershed, which holds large concentrations of silver salmon. Much of our dry fly fishing for coho salmon takes place in the Otter Lagoon system. In addition to salmon, resident rainbow trout averaging 2 to 3 pounds can be caught in Otter Lake.
Get ready for the fishing adventure of a lifetime at Kiklukh Lodge.
